Ministries: Prayer
The mission of our prayer ministry is to create an atmosphere for the people of West Ridge that will enable, enhance and encourage our Heavenly Father to draw us into a close, intimate relationship with Him. That intimacy and knowledge of God will be a first priority in the life of saints of West Ridge.
Our desire is to be able to give a resounding "Here we are!" to the question asked in Jeremiah 23:18: "But which of them has stood (tarried, dwelled, or stood firm) in the council (a close deliberation or intimate consultation) of the Lord to see (discern or experience) or hear His Word? Who has listened and heard (hear with intelligence, and then obey, even telling others) His Word."
"This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us - whatever we ask - we know that we have what we asked of him." 1 John 5:14-15.
